This article will guide you through registering as an individual user on the mobile app and getting verified. Getting verified means providing KYC information in order to fulfill tier requirements. The goal is to get to the highest tier and become a fully verified user.

If you do not yet have your own branded app in the app store, you can use the Rehive App for testing:

Register as a user

  1. Enter your App ID and click Join. You can find your App ID on the top right of the Get Started page in the Rehive Admin Dashboard.

  2. Navigate through the welcome sliders or skip.

  3. On the Welcome page, click Register. Select the Individual account type.

  4. Fill in your details. For email addresses, you cannot use the same email as your admin user. Use an alternative account or if you have a Gmail-powered account you can use the append + trick.

  5. Accept the disclaimers and continue.

  6. You should have received an email to verify your email address. Click the link in the email to verify, then go back to the user onboarding and click "Next".

  7. Complete all Basic info fields. Entering dummy data is fine.

  8. Complete Mobile number verification by entering your mobile number and verifying it via OTP.

  9. Fill out the Address verification with dummy data.

  10. For Address verification document, select any type (eg. Utility bill) and upload a dummy document. Your document will be automatically verified.

  11. For Identity verification document, select any type (e.g. Government Issued ID), enter an Issuance date and an Expiry date, and upload a dummy document. Your document will be automatically verified.

Verify users as an admin

  1. Click on the "Verify pending user documents" button.

  2. This is a list of all user uploaded documents, filtered by pending status. This means these documents have not been reviewed yet.

  3. Documents are ordered by date uploaded, with the oldest at the top. It works in a first-in-fist-out system.

  4. Click anywhere on the row of the user/document you want to review.

  5. Review the uploaded document alongside the provided user information. Ensure that the data matches. If it's a Proof of Identity document, you'll be confirming the user's identity. If it's a Proof of Address document, you'll be confirming the user's address.

  6. To verify the user's provided information, select "Verified" from the Basic info status or Address status dropdown. To verify a user's uploaded document, select "Verified" from the Document status dropdown. Click "Save" at the bottom to save your verification and move on to the next document.
